Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty was born 1 October, 1995 on the 1st of October 1995 in Berkeley, California, USA. She is an actress of renown who was in Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006,) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House.

Asia Argento was raised in Rome by a film-maker and actor family. The two professions she chose to pursue were her own. As a young girl, Asia Argento began her acting career in Sergio Cittis's Sogni e bisogni. In 1988, she was the main character in Cristina Comencini's first motion picture Zoo (1988) and as also being a member of Michele's casting for The Church (1989). The actress played Nanni Moretti's daughter in the next year on the film Red Wood Pigeon (also directed Moretti) (1989). Close Friends (1992), written and directed by Michele Placido was the film that really launched Asia's professional profession. It was her first time moving from young girl roles to mature and complex ones. Cannes International Film Festival received the film with great awe. In Trauma (1993) the actress was the first to work with her father, famed Italian horror director Dario Argento (her mother is one of Argento's favorite actresses, Daria Nicolodi, playing an overweight girl who is in search for her parents' killer. The Phantom of the Opera will be her third film alongside her father, with the first two films being Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. Asia's dedication and passion for acting has been utilized in the film by Giuseppe Piccioni in Condannato a nozze. Patrice Chereau was her director in Queen Margot the film, in which she was the main character. In 1995 Asia worked with Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion, for which she was awarded a David di Donatello. Asia started directing in the year 1994, and produced two shorts: Prospettive (1996), a document on her father as well as Abel/Asia (1998) Abel/Asia, a feature about cult film maker Abel Ferrara. The latter was awarded an award at the Rome Film Festival. Asia's feature-length debut was Scarlet Diva (2000) in 1999. In it, she acted as the lead actress as well as wrote the screenplay. It was released on May 20, 2000, both in Italy, and throughout the globe. In Brooklyn, New York it was awarded an award at the Williamsburg film festival. In 2001, following the directing of several music videos the actress gave birth to her first daughter, Anna Lou. She starred with Jean-Marc Barr as Jean-Marc Barr in The Red Siren, directed by Olivier Megaton. In 2003 she appeared with Vin Diesel and Rob Cohen's action-packed thriller. Asia also wrote a few short stories that were published in a variety of magazines.
